Miro is an online collaborative whiteboard platform. Miro built a platform for modern work, enabling collocated, distributed, and remote teams to communicate and collaborate across formats, tools, channels, and time zones - without the constraints of physical location, meeting space, and whiteboard.

Miro management

The operations coordinator, chief executive and codebase stewards can add new users to Miro and manage their permissions. Existing users can also invite new users to join.

Privacy and GDPR

Miro’s (rebranded from RealtimeBoard Inc.) Privacy Policy describes in detail how they use and collect information.

“PII collected by us is protected as personal data under applicable data protection law. PII does not include “Aggregated Information” which is information or data we collect where individual user identities have been removed, including metadata on your use of the Services, IP address logs, device and location information. Aggregated Information helps us understand trends, user needs and other information to provide improved Services and may be used by us for any purpose.”

Miro processes data in the US, and is part of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
